If so, it’s all possible with this Maintenance First Line Supervisor job in Fort McMurray, AB.Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Maintenance First Line Supervisor to work a long term-contract at a one of Canada’s largest petroleum refiners in Fort McMurray, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for directing or over-seeing work done by others in maintaining company facilities, owning and managing the relationship /contract with the Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) and construction providers, and this while focusing on delivery of objectives and plans within agreed performance parameters, and driving continuous improvement.
- Pay Rate: $ 85 / Hour
- Location: Fort McMurray, AB
- Shifts: 14 days on - 14 days off
- Job type: Full-time | Long-Term Contract
- Hires fast, pays weekly

- Supervise maintenance teams to help Operations deliver safe, reliable and profitable operations
- Work actively to remove barriers to help ensure maintenance and project work activities meet its cost and time delivery goals
- Collaborate with Planners/Schedulers to develop resource plan, verify and endorse cost estimates
- Manage maintenance activities within budget, identify and capture efficiencies and prioritize work commitments
- Be part of the Site Emergency Response team
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline and/or previous experience in a closely related position
- Possess and extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Must have SSHE management skills such as operations and maintenance, managing critical maintenance activities, maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, turnaround planning, maintenance management etc.
- Should have analytical thinking, collaboration, effective communication, courage of conviction, sound decision-making, risk management skills and shows initiative
- Able to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
