We are looking for Maintenance Millwrightto join our growing team in our Chilliwack – Rosedale location.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor Total Productive Maintenance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on company facilities and equipment in an effort to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner and to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor the maintenance ticket system and prioritize actions based on immediate safety and operational needs.
• Monitor efficiency and reduce operating and maintenance cost where possible.
• Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment and report discrepancies or insufficiencies.
• Communicate progress of plant equipment repairs and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems.
• Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department as directed.
• Assist in tracking and improving key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, and PM compliance schedule.
• Assist in planning and implementing improvements and expansions.
• Practices Safe work procedures and maintains a safe and healthy work environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skill

· Demonstrate teamwork and commitment to ongoing training for positional success

· Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications

· Able to work in wet, humid, outdoor, high noise and dusty environments
