Our Manufacturing client in Burnaby is looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The Logistics Coordinator will be working closely with the Sales Team and will be responsible for inbound and outbound shipping and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing orders from the production line and organizing the shipping of those goods
  • Interacting with customs brokerage regarding costs and documentation requirements
  • Asking for and comparing estimates for special shipments as well as routine shipments
  • Quarterly Reporting of Shipping Cost Spend Analysis
  • Communicating with Production regarding the timing of shipments of finished orders
  • Communicating with Sales Department of Shipment Tracking Information of orders
  • Communicating with Purchasing Department regarding Shipment Tracking Information of incoming materials
  • Maintain filing of accurate records of all shipments
  • Qualifications:

  • Previous 1 -2 years of logistics experience
  • Export experience to the USA is considered an asset
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
