What You’ll Do:


As the Logistics Coordinator, reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will responsible for facilitating the supply chain operations of our organization. You will be partnering with key stakeholder and personnel to process and achieve the effective distribution of our products to all USA and Canadian locations.


POSTION SUMMARY:

  • Oversee the end-to-end shipping lifecycle of all imports/eComm/Retail shipments through various modes of transportation – Air, Ocean, Road, Rail
  • Liaise with vendors and freight forwarders for all shipments and delivery status
  • Review all shipping documents and maintain its accuracy
  • Maintain and update data that pertains to key milestones (Departures, Handovers, ETAs) that provide end-to-end visibility and insight into the transportation and shipping
  • Organize and submit claims for missing and damaged packages and follow through to payment
  • Support in any adhoc pickups and label creation with an array of carriers (UPS, FedEx, Canada Post)
  • Review, process and GL code invoices


SKILLS:

  • Extreme detail-orientation, taking full ownership of one’s responsibilities and consistently ensuring the accuracy and quality of work
  • Great multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications, include Word, Excel and PowerPoint


ASSETS:

  • Experience with handling movement of ocean freight between multiple freight forwarders
  • Experience with courier platforms (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx) and their online billing, shipping tools, claims platform
  • Experience with NetSuite
