Job content

Control, Maintain Assets and Consumables - 40%

Ø Maintain internal record-keeping systems

Ø Record materials received or distributed on computer database

Ø Maintain and update DATS for geophysical equipment inventory

Ø Generate purchase orders to facilitate requirements for survey and manufacture.

Ø Perform semi-annual equipment verification

Ø Record equipment purchases, disposals and repairs.

Survey Preparation & Planning - 20%

Ø Support operations regarding import and export of all aircraft and equipment to various project sites.

Ø Support all transport requirements for operations in Canada. Including vehicle rentals, cargo transports and logistics.

Administration - 40%

Ø Maintain tracking system of all shipping documents and purchase orders

Ø Prepare equipment lists for customs purposes for import bonds and Carnets.

Ø Prepare export permits as required to facilitate shipment of controlled goods.

Ø Complete all documentation for overseas shipments

Ø Communicate with and monitor freight forwarders for shipping

Ø Track all shipments to and from crews.

Ø Responsible for small shipments
