B2Gold is a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has three operating gold mines and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Canada, Mali, the Philippines, Namibia, Columbia, Finland, and Uzbekistan. This year, B2Gold forecasts gold production to be 1,000,000- 1,080,000 ounces.

Location and Reporting Structure

Responsibilities

• Time and attendance tracking, review, entry and preparation for Manager approval for payroll processing;
• Assist the onsite Exploration Logistics team in maintaining the personnel schedule, and organizing crew rotations;
• Be a principle “boots on the ground” contact for personnel transiting through Yellowknife to and from site;
• Tracking of supplies and coordination of goods in and through Yellowknife to exploration projects;
• Data entry into various tracking and inventory tools;
• Liaise with local expediting firm to coordinate logistics of the movement of parts, supplies, and materials;
• Local pick-up and purchase of required incidental camp supplies;
• Attend site as required to support onsite logistics and site service team as required; and
• Support the management team with other administrative duties, as assigned.

Competencies and Requirements

• Two (2) years’ experience working in a travel coordination or logistics role in a remote based operation, with preference given to those with experience in remote mining environments (specifically exploration projects);
• Experience in purchasing, shipping, and receiving;
• Post-Secondary Certificate in Business, Administration, Travel or Supply Chain Management, preferred;
• Strong competence using common Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.;
• Familiarity with Camp Control/4CastPlus or similar purchasing program preferred; and
• Experience working with Indigenous groups in a professional capacity.
