Your Opportunity:This is a frontline direct patient care position. This includes heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and transferring of patients including bariatric population.Description:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).Additional Required Qualifications:Current (within 2yrs) acute surgery experience required. Proficiency with PCA maintenance, IV initiation, and Connect-Care an asset.Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
