The Learning & Development Consultant is key in supporting our employees with upskilling and learning opportunities. This hands-on position will design, deliver, maintain, and evaluate training programs. You will be challenged daily, and your contributions will directly strengthen our retention, succession & development programs all within a multi-faceted municipal setting.

- You have good knowledge & understanding of talent management programs and adult learning.
- You can flex, juggle multiple priorities & shift priorities quickly.
- You have a strong service orientation & are comfortable in responding to the needs of others.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Five (5) years directly related experience as a human resources practitioner, preferably in a unionized environment. Experience should include the development of learning and training programs.
- Completion of some supplementary coursework and certifications related to the human resources and adult learning would be an asset.
- Designation as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) considered an asset.
- An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered.
