Blue Maxx Basement Systems a construction company based in Winnipeg, specialized in foundation repairs, basement waterproofing, helical piles, and ICF construction.

We are currently hiring an experienced Lead Hand for building new foundations and foundation repair projects.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing each job to completion. Reviews the work order and job site to determine equipment and tools needed, plan time allotment, and observe and prevent potential safety hazards. Takes responsibility for assembling appropriate tools and equipment, assigns tasks to installers, and moves the job toward completion to ensure efficiency and quality. Supports the management and mission of the company.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years in construction or related field
• Experience with foundations, concrete forming, waterproofing, and general carpentry
• Skill in operating equipment and/or power tools
• Ability to see the “big picture,” i.e. the total job and break it into steps
• Possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage relationship with customers
• Valid MB driver’s license and transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Construction: 3 years (preferred)
