As a Landscaper, you would receive regular on-the-job training from your crew Supervisor and/or Lead Hand to support your skills development and to build your landscaping knowledge.

Grow your skills and confidence from a beginner to expert through practice, feedback and continuous learning. Your typical duties & responsibilities could include:

• Lawn mowing
• Line and blade edging
• Leaf Blowing (solo & tandem)
• Shearing
• Pruning
• Bedwork
• Weeding
• Litter pick up
• Tarp tying
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment (lawn mower, leaf blowers, shears)
• Drive the company truck to the local dump and waste facilities

Transferable Skills and Related Experience

• REQUIRED: British Columbia Driver’s License (N or FULL Class 5), not able to accept a Learners or International Driver Licenses.
• Have a car (asset)
• No experience is required to start as an entry level landscaper, outdoors or physical work experience is an asset
• Ability to walk 10,000+ steps a day and lift up to 50 pounds (as needed)
• Excellent Reliability
• Team player
• Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
• Smartphone with data plan
• Willingness to drive company trucks as trained
• Willingness to commute to sites within the Lower Mainland
• Language of work, English

Working Conditions: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8AM-4:45PM @ various property locations around the Lower Mainland.
