Labourer / Clean Up

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Carrier Manufacturing is the largest manufacturing shop north of Abbotsford. Handling projects across a wide range of primary resource industries, the shop is reputed for our consistent engineering standards and top-notch workmanship. We attract clientele from across Canada and into the United States, completing projects from mining to forestry to agriculture and beyond.

THE DUTIES:

Successful candidates must be able to work in various jobs which can include rotating to different job duties. These general clean up duties could include:

• Sweeping
• Dumping Garbage
• Scrap Steel
• Brush cutting around yard

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will currently hold Level 3 First Aid and be a hardworking individual with a proactive attitude. They are willing to always learn and embrace new concepts. They will have the ability to work well with others at all levels and should be a motivated, self-starter.

This is a physical job that involves walking on even and uneven surfaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit attention to detail, a safety-conscious attitude, and impeccable attendance.
