Tundra Site Services is currently accepting resumes from structural welders with process plant shutdown experience and/or a solid background in maintenance and fabrication in remote, fly-in camp environments.

Typically, this work is to provide fabrication welding services in process plant environments, but welders should also be open to providing support to mechanical teams as helper when welding work isn’t available.

Top performers are often able to secure regular and on-going opportunities.

Requirements

• Journeyman Welder Ticket, Red Seal an asset
• Solid welding fabrication experience in industrial and mining
• Self-starter, able to fit in well with client teams and adapt to client environments with a focus on customer care and maintenance excellence.
• Willingness to work in remote environments.
• A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures, with special attention to Covid-19 protocols - the safety of the worksite and community requires continued commitment from our entire team.
  

Tundra work is occasional by nature, but the environment is good, safety is excellent. Fly in/out, typically from Yellowknife and Calgary, 12 hour days, permanent camp living with good food and facilities while dispatched.

A great attitude with focus on client experience and customer service is essential.

Criminal checks and drug and alcohol tests are the norm when working for Tundra Site Services.
