The Velocity Program is not your average internship or co-op! This is a customized experience that focuses on providing you with the development and tools you need to grow your career. After successfully completing a co-op or internship with top performance, we will work with you to establish your future placements. As a result, you will get to learn, grow, and experiment within different areas of both Scotiabank and Tangerine!


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with an office team in design, preparation of presentation material, sample boards and in the production of documents in AutoCAD
  • Produce documentation in written form, to a high quality and professional standard.
  • Develop visual materials to represent designs, utilizing Photoshop and Adobe Suite.
  • Work with a team of architects and designers and are responsible for important and prestigious projects relating to Scotiabank’s Real Estate, in Canada and internationally.


Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if:

  • You are currently enrolled in Architecture, Building Technology, Design, or related program.
  • You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
  • You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions and/or hackathons.
  • You have some experience in the production of design, space planning drawings in AutoCAD
  • You are proficient in CAD, Revit, and other pertinent software including Sketchup, Photoshop, MS Office.
  • You have experience in 3D renderings, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and any other software platforms.
  • You take the initiative and have the motivation to achieve high standards in architectural work.
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, consultants, and other stake holders
  • French / Spanish speaking is an asset
