As a Test Bench Automation Designer, you will develop software and test sequences that will be used to automate tests in order to validate our products for the electric vehicles of tomorrow. You will also work on test system architectures such as chassis dynamometers or accelerated aging stations.

Your mandate: revolutionize the world of transportation, while:

• Maintaining instrumentation libraries for test programs (VB.Net, C#)
• Developing automated test sequences on a custom test bench platform
• Designing and maintaining databases (SQL)
• Designing and developing custom test benches and equipment
• Participating in the continuous improvement of test facilities and infrastructures
• Participating in the commissioning of new test benches
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to find technical solutions for products
• Any other related tasks
  

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in software or electrical engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience on test benches
• Essential: Demonstrated experience in programming, particularly in test sequence automation
• Essential: Experience in object-oriented programming in C#, VB.NET
• Essential: Knowledge of multi-threaded applications
• Essential: Familiarity with source controllers (GIT, SVN or others)
• Essential : Experience in drivers implementation
• Asset: Experience with software testing (Labview, TestStand)
• Asset: Knowledge of National Instruments hardware (CompactDAQ, PXI)
• Asset: Knowledge of OPC protocol and client/server infrastructure
• Asset: Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, TCP/IP)
• Communication skills
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
