Each member of our team will have the opportunity to move up in the business, all it takes is a strong work ethic and willingness to learn!Job DescriptionThe Territory Manager position is typically best suited for individuals searching for summer 2023 employment (May-September) who are seeking valuable management experience and enjoy engaging with customers and employees, providing great customer service, working outdoors and are looking to improve on leadership and management abilities.This role is very essential for our operations at Canadian BBQ Boys. As a Territory Manager, you will be learning the ins and outs of the barbecue industry by conducting the barbecue cleaning service that we offer according to company processes and procedures, facilitating the customer experience, managing over a team of between 15-25 employees, overseeing territory sales, inventory and supply management, and tracking employee and territory performance.Territory Managers have the opportunity to work their way into the Regional Manager as well as Office positions, which can come with pay increases along with increased responsibilities.Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Training & managing a territory and team of 8-14 employees
• Pre-Season and in season recruitment & hiring
• Cleaning & Repairing barbecues at both Commercial and Residential properties
• Inventory, supplies, & sales management
• Driving Sales in your Territory
• Interacting with customers
• Handling unsatisfied/upset customers
• Monitor & manage employee and territory performance
• Motivating and leading teams to hit targets and achieve goals
• Hitting targets as set out by head office
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership positions
• Experience in Customer Service
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to excel in a team environment
• Able to perform physical labor and operate light equipment
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Able to meet deadlines, problem solve and work well under pressure
• High attention to detail

Compensation

• Starting at $19/hr + Tips & Bonus Incentives (Most make $20-$25/hr)
• Pay increases as you are promoted to high positions (high performers are promoted very quickly at Canadian BBQ Boys)
• Mileage is compensated for all kilometers driven for business purposes

Job Type

• Full-time Position (Apr 25th - Sept 1st*)
• Monday-Friday
• Will require part-time remote availability before start date for training and assistance with seasonal preparation (Starting April 1st)
