OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for the estimation and project management of Access Control, CCTV and other smart building initiatives. This is an opportunity to be part of a group of “do what you say” creative thinkers. You will be part of the “front-facing” team to help our clients be more safe and secure – allowing them to “sleep well” at night knowing that we have helped them out. A desire to come up with innovative solutions and ability to install them, is a must. If you like sitting still and not learning, this job is not for you. Some general qualifications that we are looking for – but more is great! The duties will include the following:

• Estimating
• Design
• Job Take-offs
• Project Management
• Engagement and communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Confirmation of project completion, close-out documents, billing

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with our team to estimate security system projects and provide a bill of materials with all associated labor costs.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to design and implement security solutions.
• Review specifications of RFP’s and participate in preparing an RFP response/package.
• Utilize industry knowledge and experience to assess RFP accuracy.
• Provide linear measurements for cable and fiber infrastructure take-offs.
• Attend site visits as required; perform site surveys when necessary.
• Interact with distributors and manufactures for products and pricing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Security project management.
• Experience with one or more of the following systems: Lenel, Software House, Amag, Avigilon & Genetec.
• Ability to understand network architecture, with the ability to integrate Access Control, CCTV and other building systems.
• Ability to interpret complex documents.
• Ability to design systems with appropriate infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse groups.
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills while working with internal staff and customers.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (word, Excel and MS Project)
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong organization skills: must have the ability to prioritize work load effectively.
• Ability to solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Industry Certifications preferred.
• A valid driver’s license (clean abstract) and available to travel
