Technical Sales Specialist – Critical Environments

The candidate will be responsible for interfacing directly with our customers and the market, providing world-class technical support and guidance. The successful candidate will provide technical support to owners, consulting engineers, architects, contractors, and internal customers on the technical application of products, design guidance for commercial spaces and troubleshooting and installation support. Support will be provided in both in-office and site visit settings across North America.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with sales representatives, contractors, engineers and owners on providing in office product support, site visit product support, equipment selections, and sales assistance.
• Training customers in our technical centers, or by travelling throughout our distribution network.
• Assisting in the development of marketing and software tools.
• Assisting the R&D department with new product development.
• Travelling within North America.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• A valid passport and ability to travel to the USA.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail.
• A process driven mindset, be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
• Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence.
• A basic understanding of HVAC, mechanical systems and the healthcare industry would be an asset.
• the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
• An aptitude with hand tools, ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications.
