Technical Lead - Content Payment

Role overview:

Cognizant is seeking a Technical Lead - Content Payment with significant experience in the Telecom/Cable domain, particularly in the Product – Media Maestro.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customer-facing roles and responsibilities, along with expertise in support, issue/defect management, and proficiency in SQL with a focus on performance tuning and should have experience with 3rd party vendor product - Media Maestro.

What you’ll do

• Understanding and handling Content Payment Rights Management procedures and processes.
• Analyzing and comprehending content calculations to ensure accurate payment systems.
• Applying received patches from Vistex (Media Maestro Vendor) and ensuring their successful integration into the payment systems.
• Coordinating with the 3rd-party Vendor (Vistex) to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Collaborating closely with the business team to align payment systems with interpersonal objectives.
• Proficiently optimizing SQL queries for performance enhancement.
• Testing and validating the functionality of 3rd-party tools, ensuring they meet required standards.
• Using extensive experience in Telecom/Cable domain Billing and Payments Systems.
• Applying domain-specific knowledge to fix and resolve system issues.
• Engaging in customer-facing roles to address queries or concerns related to payment systems.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving payment-related issues effectively.
• Applying technical skills to optimize queries and implement vital improvements.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes, changes, and improvements made to payment systems.
• Generating reports to track system performance, improvements, and issues resolved.

What you bring to the role:

• Proven Track Record in Telecom/Cable industry and Extensive exposure to Media Maestro and other content payment systems within the Telecom/Cable domain.
• Prior experience in customer-facing responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and expertise in optimizing queries.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, 3rd-party vendors, and business teams.
• Strong analytical skills to optimize queries and implement patches effectively.
• Should have strong working experience in SQL, emphasizing performance tuning, along with a minimum of 8 to 12 years of overall experience.
• Should be Knowledgeable in Content Payment Rights Management and Content Calculation. Collaborate with the Development team and 3rd-party Vendor (Media Maestro) while coordinating with the business team.
• Analyze and optimize queries, test 3rd-party tools, and implement received patches from Vistex.
• Previous exposure to payment engine tools is helpful.
