Position:Team & Business Coordinator - Vancouver Warriors

Department:Lacrosse

Reports to:Chief Business Officer


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warriors Team & Business Coordinator will manage the administrative duties for both the business and team side of the Lacrosse division. This role would also provide key support for Membership Experience communication and marketing, to facilitate a high rate of retention and allow us to build a successful membership base. The incumbent will also help in the launching of the Lacrosse Academies, Camps, and sixes, along with other administrative duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned as required)

Business Administration

  • Work closely with Ticket Sales and Membership Experience to provide front line member experience for Warriors Season Ticket Members (STM)’s to ensure communication and high retention rates for our STM’s
  • Work with the Content and Marketing teams to ensure up-to-date lacrosse and sport business news, and provide updates to the social and content teams for postings and news
  • Engage with external stakeholders in the sport, business, and hospitality industries to create and execute programs in the community to promote the Vancouver Warriors
  • Execute communications plans for all Warriors stakeholders
  • Administrative support for meetings, including minute taking, as well as marketing and community initiatives
  • Work with Community Engagement team on administration of complimentary tickets and ticket tracking


Team Administration

  • Manage team tickets allocation
  • Manage team expenses administration
  • Manage team COVID-19 protocols administration (Teamworks, Privit, etc.)
  • Administrative support for practices, team travel, hotels, meals, and insurance
  • Administrative support to Team Services Manager on launching Lacrosse Academies, Camps, and sixes program, including space bookings, registrations, scheduling, etc.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
  • At least two years of work experience in marketing, hospitality, administration or sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience prioritizing the use of limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • A proven ability to make critical decisions independently
  • An independent, creative personality with strong problem solving skills
