Our current client fights climate change and supports food security with real action – using agriculture technology to provide automated growing systems for fresh produce that can grow all year long anywhere on earth. They have a presence both in Canada and around the world.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The IT System Administrator will focus on providing high-level IT support to end-users. You are a strategic, fast thinker who gets excited about scaling and growing a company along with an innovative and tech-savvy team.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The role will vary each day depending on the different projects and initiatives you will be involved in. Following a hybrid working model, main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the implementation of current and new IT infrastructure and network, such as but not limited to routers, switches, access points, etc.
• Manage Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint
• Receive and respond to service tickets and provide IT support and guidance for both on-site and remote employees.
• Install and upgrade software, install hardware and configure systems and applications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the company’s hardware and software.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software with Microsoft 365.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 3 or more years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator.
• 2-4 years’ experience with business and systems analysis.
• Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Computer Science or a related discipline Microsoft certification. MCITP/MCSE as asset
• Experience with Active Directory and Networks (LAN, WAN, and VPN).
• Strong support knowledge of O365, Microsoft Office, network technologies and concepts (Unifi, VLAN Management and PfSense).
• Strong knowledge and deployment experience of Azure AD Passwordless and MFA Deployment, Windows and Mac clients mobile OS and hardware as well as audio/visual Microsoft Teams Room support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune MDM and AutoPilot Deployments.

COMPENSATION

• $75,000 – $85,000 DOE
• Hybrid working model
