Supply Chain Workflow Digitization Internship - Burlington, ON, Canada

Eaton’s ES-Americas, Canada Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Workflow Digitization Intern to join our dynamic Global Trade Management team based in Burlington, Ontario for 8 months.

Position Overview:

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a well-established and quickly-evolving area of expertise that drives all aspects of our manufacturing business. The successful candidate in this role will be tasked to our SCM workflow digitization project. We are developing common platforms from disparate data sources to effectively manage operations by establishing a four-way match of values and quantities that will move the corporation towards Industry 4.0.

Through the project, you will be actively engaged in a wide variety of Eaton Business System & Supply Chain processes. This will be an excellent work experience for anyone pursuing a professional career in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Global Trade Management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (including educational requirements):

• Actively enrolled in Post-secondary Degree or Diploma specializing in Business, Supply Chain or Materials Management, and returning to school in the Fall of 2023.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• No Relocation Provided

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment an asset.
• Excellent time management skills
• Advanced computer skills especially in MS Office, and most particularly in PowerBI
• Sound basic knowledge of systems purchasing and accounting policies
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis expertise
