Summer 2022 - Retail Sales Associate (FT & PT Available)

Big White is seeking applications for the position of Retail Sales Associate for the 2022 summer season. As a Retail Sales Associate you will have a friendly and cheerful disposition, a willingness to learn and a professional demeanor at all times.
Passion and knowledge of downhill biking and/or hiking is desired, but not essential.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests as they enter the shop
• Being available to assist guests as needed
• Provide guests with product knowledge and comparisons to assist with their purchases.
• Keeping the shop full stocked
• Ensuring the store and storage rooms are clean & tidy at all times.
• Product labeling, receiving and restocking
• Cash-handling and balancing
• Using Retail Pro Prizm software
• Work with minimal supervision on quieter days

Required qualifications/skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Professional attitude
• Good organizational skills
• Previous experience in customer service
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications
• Cash-handling experience
• Administrative skills
• Time management skills
• Working knowledge of the facility, services and local area
• Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player
• Must be able to deal with people of various ages with animation and with patience

Hours of operation in Summer 2022 are Thursday - Sunday and Holiday Mondays.
Full time staff are given a complimentary summer seasons pass.
Staff acommondation may be available.
