Area of Expertise:

Design optimization using Ansys WB or classic, multi-disciplinary optimization ISIGHT, thermal and structural analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics, explicit 3D finite element analysis DYNA, Weibull statistical analysis.

What are our expectations?

The analytical assessment of the rotating structural component or assembly of components. Responsible for data reduction of the analytical results for the component stresses, deflections, fits, transient temperature distributions, FOD, durability, damage tolerance, maintenance/repair limits and manufacturing quality control.

The tools you need to be successful :

The following are key qualifications required for a successful individual in this job:

Analytical design optimization (Ansys WB or other optimization codes)

Capable of workflow design for analytical process automation

Capable of structural substantiation plan and execution, such as writing RTs and doing data reduction.

Capable of providing technical support to engine development and rig hardware design.

Capable of preparing concise and effective technical reports.

Capable and willing to communicate openly

Capable and willing to share knowledge and expertise

Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures, such as turning and milling.

Basic understanding of CAD data structures and solid modeling in CATIA

Basic understanding of AMAZON or AZURE serverless cloud calculation

Have at least 3 years of practice in relevant Mechanical Engineering field.
