This position is within the market sector Renewable Energy of the Power Division. This market sector specializes in renewable projects related to wind, solar and battery storage. We work in collaboration with public and private sector clients on innovative projects that allow our team members to prove their expertise and to train a new generation of passionate people.

In order to meet these growth challenges, WSP is currently looking for a Structural EIT to join our national team in Renewable Energy, located in one of our offices in Canada.


A day in the life:

  • Collaborate with the structural engineers on the preparation of calculations, reports, drawings and specifications for:
    • Wind turbine foundations;
    • Solar structure, piles and racks;
    • Ancillary structure for wind and solar projects
    • Wind turbine tower;
    • Substation;
    • Dams and Hydroelectric Powerhouse;
  • Office and on site construction support services and inspection for wind farm projects (+/-10% of the role);
  • Ensure design compliance with relevant engineering standards and codes, as well as internal QA/QC procedures;

We’d love to hear from you if you have ...

  • Have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Structural/Civil engineering or equivalent;
  • Are someone who stand out by his Self motivation, his leadership, his initiative sense and his attention to detail;
  • Are Willing to work in a collaborative approach with an experienced and enthusiasm team;
  • Have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing;
  • Have Internship experience in design and/or construction quality control (considered as an asset);
