Applies scientific principles to innovate, design, develop and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions. Ensure novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools.

This position will be based out of the Winnipeg site as this will be a hybrid role (combination of in-office and remote work).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Structural analysis of interior monuments and modifications to primary aircraft structure.
  • Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications for product design of aircraft structures, cabin interior monuments and features.
  • Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowable and structural modeling.
  • Designs, develops and tests metallic or non-metallic structures or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.
  • May manage moderately sized projects or processes.
  • Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight from manager.
  • Coaches, reviews and delegates work to other professionals.
  • Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of FEMAP ,PATRAN , Nastran.
  • 5 years + of professional experience in aerospace structural analysis and design.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural analysis software.
  • Eligible to Work in Canada.
