As ATB’s next Strategic Initiatives & Project Management Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Associate Vice-President of Wealth Strategy & Insights and with the CEO & EVP of Wealth to facilitate the connection between enterprise strategy and execution. This is a highly collaborative position, required to influence and manage multiple partner and stakeholder relationships including Strategic Partners, Communications, Brand & Reputation and Finance Partners and other stakeholders in the enterprise. The incumbent in this role will be a member of the Office of the CEO leadership team and plays a key role in enabling and elevating the overall business performance of Wealth. This role will oversee the progress of our internal Wealth Programs and be the conduit of oversight to milestone programs with enterprise inclusive of tracking completion and impact.
  • Team Member recognition programs Presidents Council; President’s League and Everyday Heroes Quarterly Awards.
  • Directly lead the Office of the CEO meetings, design deliverables and monitor execution. Deliverables will include board reporting for ATB Financial Board and ATBIS Board.
  • Design of the Advisory Council meetings quarterly throughout the year.
This individual is an excellent communicator, systems thinker, brings sound critical thinking and business judgment, is highly organized, can manage multiple priorities at once and has a track record for strong execution.

Accountabilities
  • Defines scope and implements complex cross-team projects with high impact. This includes handling complex problems and delivering integrated solutions that successfully transition into operations.
  • Drives the Wealth performance culture through program planning including end to end ownership and accountability of the Wealth Presidents Council recognition program aligning winner criteria to the operating plan and business objectives.
  • Coordinates and assists in the development of content for quarterly leadership connections that enables Wealth leaders to become more effective leaders.
  • Steers Wealth designing the ecosystem vision through monitoring and evaluation of special projects in Wealth and Milestones with enterprise. This includes but not limited to strategic projects for workforce management, physical spaces and cost management initiatives.
  • Drives creation and facilitates the execution of short term Wealth operating plans, and insight gathered through sensing and scanning the internal and external environment in collaboration with other members of the office of the CEO in Wealth.
  • Manages and prepares quarterly deliverables for ATB Board of Directors. This includes coordination of the senior Wealth leadership team and strategic partner inputs including metrics, commentary on financial results, successes and challenges as well as providing recommendations to enhance and refine the report prior to CEO review and submission.
  • Provide direct support to Wealth Senior Leadership Team (WSLT), including determination of events (WSLT) attends based on strategic priorities, location, market requirements etc. This includes but is not limited to meetings, speaking engagements, conferences and external events.
  • Models leadership behavior by example and is seen as valuable resource to Wealth senior leaders and partners

Other Requirements
  • Post secondary degree in a Business discipline or related field OR a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • PMP designation or other Project Management certification is strongly preferred
  • Consulting and communication skills with the ability to influence and translate complex ideas into a comprehensible plan
  • Experience building, nurturing and leveraging highly collaborative partnerships with a multitude of stakeholders across the organization
  • Presentation skills - proven ability to create awareness and understanding of purpose and objectives of strategy
  • Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Change enabler - translate plans into reality, anticipate expectations, shift behavior
