Steam Truck Operator
Job Summary:
As a Steam Truck Operator with Tuc’s Contracting, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Pipeline and valve thawing
- Steam cleaning: plant structures, buildings, process facilities, wellheads, pipelines, tanks, large vessels
- Cleaning of mobile equipment such as: gravel trucks, mining equipment, mobile cranes, light vehicles, haul trucks, shovels
You will actively participate in all safety initiatives, perform pre/post inspections on vehicles, pumps, equipment, tools, etc., and complete billing and time cards.
The shift rotation for this position is 10/4, 14/7 and 21/14. Shift is flexible to accommodate employer/employee needs.
Qualifications:
- Class 3 Driver’s license
- Clean 5 Year commercial driver’s abstract
- Minimum 5 years steam truck experience required
- Proficiency in reading, writing and understanding English
- No site bans from any of the oilsands sites within the Region
- First Aid, CSTS, and OSSA, Fall Arrest, required
