Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Advanced Analytics Consultant for our growing Technology Consulting team. ROLE @ MNP

As a Sr. Advanced Analytics Consultant, you will architect, build, and deploy BI solutions for highly complex distributed software systems in Microsoft Azure. Training team members on the technologies and sharing knowledge on recognized best practices.

Performance Expectations

• Provide IT consulting services to a wide range of MNP clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors including IT Architecture, IT Solution Design, Technical Analysis, System Implementation and System Optimization
• Contribute to projects and undertake leadership roles of workstreams; ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and within the client specifications; ensure project profitability and client satisfaction
• Work collaboratively with clients to assess current technology environments and develop innovative technology solutions that achieve client outcomes
• Develop robust and complete technology solutions based on functional requirements
• Create architectural designs and specifications that support business requirements and address problems of system compatibility
• Define system integration requirements and support from concept through to implementation
• Provide solutions for cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
• Assist with application configuration for COTS and custom solutions
• Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining findings, facts and highlights resulting from the client engagement
• Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value s
• Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
• Raise awareness of MNP through discussions at community events including client and company sponsored functions
• Be actively involved in the business and IT business community to build a relationship network
• Provide leadership and subject matter experience in proposal development and solution design
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
  

Credentials

• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, management information systems, computer engineering or other related field
• 8+ years of professional IT experience in architecting, designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions
• Hands on experience implementing Microsoft BI/Azure BI solutions with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Flows (Automate)
• Deep knowledge of designing and developing business intelligence dashboards, analytical reports and data visualizations using power BI and providing approrpiate access to different user groups
• Strong knowledge of Common Data Model (CDM), Common Data Services (CDS) and Power BI Data Flows & Power BI Data Sets
• Expertise in Tabular Data Modelling for Moderate to Large Data Systems and managing data privacy and security in Power BI/ SQL DB
• Highly experienced in Data Quality Testing, data governance and identifying and resolving Data anomalies in complex Data Integration systems
• Extensive experience in building complex dashboards/reports in Power BI
• Experience with Azure Devops and usage/implementation in developing BI solutions
• Experience with DataBricks
• Experience in Agile software development and SCRUM methodology
• Strong understanding of Cloud concepts – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
• Passio n for innovation and application of technology to solve complex business problems
• Possession of a developed network within the business and IT community is considered a strong asset
• Some travel may be required
