Workplace

Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. Our expectations

As Specialist, Online Merchandising, you will assist the Online Merchandising team with the implementation and execution of product strategies that align with business objectives and financial goals. This role will support the Merchant team through a variety of tasks, including business analysis, product review, vendor meetings, and strategy execution.

Your role

  • Assume responsibility for a specified portion of product assortments and groups.
  • Support the Merchant teams and execute tasks to deliver on strategic objectives
  • Partner with their leader and cross-functional partners to assist in building product assortments and lines for specified categories.
  • Analyze business trends and identify areas of opportunities; recommend improvements to the Merchant teams
  • Help manage relationships and facilitate vendor interactions working closely with Merchants and Senior Merchants
  • Build and maintain strong understanding of the industry
  • Partner for specific category tactics and execution
  • Make product decisions for assigned product category groups if needed

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BCom) sor similar
  • At least 2 years of professional or retail store support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (especially proficient in Microsoft Excel) (preferred)
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Driven, self-starter attitude with the ability to perform in a fast paced, changing environment
