Web application QA

The Fortinet team is currently looking for a Web application QA to join our R&D team in our Burnaby location. As a team member, you will be responsible for testing the website GUI. You will be working closely with the interface development team to verify new features, automate test cases and improve the product’s usability, reliability and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

•Execute feature and bug fix testing for website GUI using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.

•Automate front-end testing using Selenium(Or other automated testing tools).

•Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.

•Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed.

Job Skills Required:

•Experience in software testing including Web application and REST API testing.

•Ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot Web application.

•Ability to write clear and reproducible problem reports, and test results.

•Skills in frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

•Experience in frontend framework such as Angular is an asset.

•Skills in scripting languages such as Python, PHP is an asset
