Job Description

The Site Manager’s role is to direct the overall activity of the car wash location through leading, motivating and developing a team that delivers a quality customer experience. The Site Manager is in constant contact with customers and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drives quality and excellent customer service through the daily management of employees and site programs. Effectively answers all customer questions and handles complaints.
• Manages sales and volume by directing on-site sales & promotional efforts. Prepares daily deposits (if applicable), safe reconciliation, and other reports, as required.
• Leads recruiting, hiring and retention efforts for the team. Responsible for ensuring proper staffing and scheduling. Ensures all training and development of site staff to company standards. Appropriately addresses employee performance issues and recognizes good performance.
• Monitors and manages site through cleanliness, value, equipment operation and service. Ensures daily openings and closings are on schedule and standards and procedures are maintained.
• Enjoys mentoring staff to get the best performance from each team member.
• Creates and promotes a fun, safe and positive work environment while effectively executing the company safety program.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who takes initiative to obtain solutions and works collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent leadership, listening, verbal communication, customer interactions, and computer skills.
• Must have the ability to learn quickly, multitask and embrace changes, both anticipated and unexpected.
• Willingness and flexibility to work long hours as required.
• Five years experience in a management capacity.
• Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

The Site Manager is required to work a flexible schedule (inside and outside in all weather) where shifts include mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. The Site Manager must be comfortable, competent and comfortable enforcing policy, procedure, and practice with employees.
