Your Impact:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for assisting and supporting the daily functions of the warehouse department to ensure the department runs effectively and efficiently.

How you will contribute:

• Process all shipping and receiving documents
• Provide feedback and job improvement ideas to department supervisor
• Meet and greet all carriers
• Ensure driver logs are completed
• Retrieve all the required information from carriers to ensure the required loads are being shipped and received
• Check and review all shipping and receiving documents to ensure that loads are being processed accurately
• Assist with all inventory control measures
• Maintain warehouse database
• Coordinates with team members to ensure that all orders are completed accurately
• Report all non-conformance to department supervisor
• Communicates with multiple inside and outside customers to ensure service needs are met
• Maintain and file all warehouse Documents
• Job duties are not limited to the above mentioned, applicant must be flexible and willing to help out when and wherever needed.
• Always work safely, keep work area clean and tidy, wear proper PPE, ensure product meets proper quality and food safety standard and work to GMP rules.
• Must be trained on food allergens.
• Any other duties as assigned
• Shared commitment to the development and continuing improvement of a positive food safety and quality culture
• Must be trained on 1) the sources of gluten (wheat, rye, barley, spelt, kamut and related grains), 2) the risk associated with gluten cross contamination and its impact on those with celiac disease; and 3) how to report instances of suspected contamination.

What you will bring to the team:

• Requires a minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Weekend availability
