Quadrogen Power Systems, Inc. is a privately held Canadian clean-tech company that designs, builds, and installs high performance gas clean-up and upgrading solutions for the renewable energy sector.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Managerfor our Burnaby office in BC, Canada to join our fight against climate change. As our ideal candidate, you have a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both as a member of a team and independently, with a demonstrated ability to show initiative. You also have strong organizational abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This full-time position reports directly to the CEO & President of the company and will be best suited for someone with knowledge of project management and implementation, preferably from small to midsized high-tech projects. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project scheduling, budgets, and cost control, ensuring that projects are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Participate in the engineering design review process, and work collaboratively with the team to size and specify equipment
• Plan and report all activities for projects received
• Interface with our customers on a variety of issues including scope of work, purchase order requirements, delivery details, etc.
• Write project reports to assist with technical sales of Quadrogen’s products and services
• Travel on occasion with the business development team to close business opportunities
• Perform other related duties as required in a small, start-up environment
• Experience with technical engineering documents such as drawings, process and instrumentation diagrams, and single-line diagrams

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Applied Science/Engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering discipline from an accredited school or university, with minimum 15 years of recent related experience
• Membership or eligibility for immediate membership as a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) will be preferred but not essential
• PMP certification preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented work environment
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
