We are looking for passionate pioneers to help our clients realize sustainable business value in the emerging virtual reality network for commerce, experience, and community.

KPMG Studio consists of a team of innovative business designers, who are collectively working with cutting edge technologies to shape how we operate and interact in the digital world across multiple industries.

What You Will Do

As the KPMG Metaverse Lead, you report into and work directly with the Managing Partner and President of Digital and Innovation at KPMG, while also working closely with the Crypto-Asset & Blockchain Leader and Customer Practice Leader, as well as a cross-functional team demonstrating thought leadership across various metaverse platforms in support of our clients’ metaverse endeavors. This includes educating clients, developing proposals, create thought-provoking content on metaverse, and demo meaningful experiences across multiple Metaverse platforms. You will leverage your experience and effective story telling skills to simplify the complex topics of the Metaverse and Web3 for the senior executives and articulate opportunities in support of their strategies in existing and future initiatives.

Successful candidates will have passion and enthusiasm for the Metaverse, NFTs, DeFi, and excitement about Web3, along with in-depth knowledge of the industry’s institutional practices.

Your responsibilities as the Metaverse Lead will be different each day, but will primarily include

• Defining and leading the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the Metaverse Taskforce
• Lead the development of high-impact and visually compelling proposals, presenting thought-provoking ideas that connect with clients and add business value
• Advising clients on metaverse activation strategies including, identification and prioritization of relevant use cases, and experience design
• Deliver engaging educational workshops and metaverse platform demos for several industries
• Establishing and managing strategic collaborations with external organizations in the space for tangible opportunities
• Ideate digital events and commercial activities in the Metaverse for our teams, clients, and community, as well as planning, hosting, designing, and overseeing delivery of such consumer experiences
• Research and develop content that educates and demonstrates our foresight and thought leadership both internally and externally
  

What You Bring To The Role

• Passion for Metaverse, AR/VR experiences and underlying technology infrastructure
• Actively engaged in multiple Metaverse platforms, such as Decentraland, The Sandbox, Horizon Worlds, Engage, Altspaces etc.
• Foundational knowledge of processes, tools, and building blocks of XR – AR/VR, Metaverse, NFTs, Tokenomics and crypto wallets
• Strong understanding of emerging trends and use cases in the web3 and Metaverse space
• 5+ years in technology business development
• Experience building, launching, sustaining, and growing online communities and initiatives to drive community engagement
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, while being able to speak both at a technical level and strategic level
• Ability to lead multiple workstreams and engagements simultaneously
• Facilitation experience with storytelling skills in addition to experience with presenting to clients
