SUMMARY

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be producing scalable web-based software solutions in an Agile development environment for our Connected Ag experience. These products encapsulate the end-to-end experience in the Ag ecosystem allowing integration of their Precision Ag environment. You will be working in a multi-cloud environment helping support and move our web technology forward.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work as a member of a software team to generate working software within a sprint cycle.
• Ability to lead small projects, efforts, and implementations from a technical perspective.
• Provide SME knowledge of technical best practices to the team.
• Strong desire to learn new things and innovate.
• Designing and developing user interactions for web-based interfaces.
• Development of back-end website applications and services.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Ability to understand and design responsive and scalable applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support web-based products in a customer facing environment.
• Desire and ability to stay abreast of new developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Work with internal teams and external sources to obtain and communicate data relative to engineering requirements.
• Administer and implement new testing frameworks, deployment tools and simulation testbeds.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field related to Software Development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing commercialized software in a professional environment.
• Experience and proficiency working with front-end web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
• Experience and expertise with JavaScript frameworks, preferably including React.
• Experience with server-side languages such as PHP, .NET, NodeJS, or Python is required.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and developing APIs in secure and scalable methods.
• Experience using build tools such as GitLab is needed.
• Experience working with a cloud platform environment is expected, experience working in a multi-cloud platform environment is a plus.
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Travel may be necessary, based on position.
• US Citizenship may be required, based on position.
