Senior Fraud Analyst

About you:

You are a Fraud specialist who takes initiative in financial crime expeditions and escalations. You roll with the punches of urgency while remaining steady under high pressure. Learning new tactics and systems sparks innovation and collaboration for you. You are looking to join a growing collective where Fraud investigation is a nimble and direct impact initiative.

About you / qualifications:

• At least 5+ years experience in preventing and mitigating fraud and financial crime
• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field considered an asset
• Intermediate or senior level investigator with a broad knowledge of fraud and financial crime typologies
• Experience in producing dashboards and reports
• Experience working with rule sets and data analysis
• Experience in working with payment products like E-transfers and payment cards
• Bilingual in French is an asset

About the day-to-day :

• Manage fraud cases and investigation files
• Liaise with and support other Financial Institutions and Law Enforcement during investigations.
• Support implementation and day-to-day operation of fraud tools.
• Prepare and maintain dashboards using PowerBi.
• Produce investigative reports using large datasets.
• Provide input on risk assessments and control development.
• Act as a Fraud SME to Peoples Group on new initiatives and incidents.
• Support other team members on escalated issues.
