Leckie Studio Architecture + Design Inc. is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Vancouver, Canada. The studio was founded in 2015 by principal architect Michael Leckie. We engage in the practice of design across a variety of scales and media - including architecture, interiors, installations, and product design. Our residential and commercial projects are informed by an environmental sensitivity that includes an emphasis on passive solar design, and flexible, modular spaces. Our design process is committed to a rigorous process of discovery - the core of the practice relies on a deeply-rooted fascination with the act of making.

Job Description

Qualifications:

· Minimum 10 years of experience.

· Proficient in Revit

· Passive House and/or LEED® certifications are an asset

· Special consideration for those with work experience in British Columbia.

· Registered with AIBC or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia

· Must reside in Vancouver, BC or willing to relocate

· Must have working status in Canada

· Have exceptional design skills and a strong critical perspective

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated leadership skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects at once

· Self-motivated team player and team leader that enjoys working collaboratively

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)

· Team player, positive attitude

Excellent technical knowledge including:

· Strong working knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code and local zoning by-laws

· Strong technical knowledge in building detailing

· Ability to effectively coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities

· Experience managing project schedules and budgets

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Design Suites, & Sketchup

Salary: From $75,000.00 per year
