Overview:

Monitor guest and employee activities for unlawful/illegal acts and attend court as required.

This position pays $19.00 per hour.

How You’ll Make A Difference:

Monitor guest and employee activities for unlawful/illegal acts and attend court as required
Monitor surveillance systems
Investigate incidents
Liaise with other departments to collect and investigate documents related to an incident
Photograph/videotape and collect information pertaining to an incident
Work in conjunction with the Safety Department on reported incidents
Work with Loss Prevention Management on investigations
Complete reports and follow-up in a timely manner as required
Documentation/filing as required
Prepare an incident review to Loss Prevention Management
Use park computers and programs to input data
All other duties as assigned

We’re Looking For:

Enrolled in or graduate of a Post-Secondary Law Enforcement program or possess equivalent work experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Present a professional manner and positive attitude
Candidates must be able to work under stressful conditions while remaining calm and patient
Available to work flexible hours, including late evenings and on weekends
Must be able to adapt to working in a team-oriented environment
Must have reliable transportation, outside of public transit
Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license, driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certificates
Previous park experience and knowledge of cash systems is an asset
Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
