The Spotted Toad Daycare is looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, loving and creative individuals to join our team! We are a small center that has been catering to the Sackville area for 20 years.

Responsibilities:

· Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children

· Plan and implement age-appropriate activities

· Monitor children’s activities to ensure their safety

· Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress

· Ensure that the daycare is clean and organized at all times

Experience:

· Experience working with children of all ages

· Experience in behavior management

· Classroom management experience is a plus

We operate Monday to Friday from 7am – 6pm, currently we have three programs: a junior preschool program for 2–3 year old’s, a school readiness program for 4-5 year old’s and a school age program for school children ages 5-12 years.

Our openings are currently for the school age program but there may be opportunities to join the other groups in the future.

If you are interested in these positions you will need to have or be willing to obtain certification in First Aid & CPR training Level C, Vulnerable sector/Criminal Record checks and a Social Development (SD) check. I can assist you with obtaining these should you need any assistance.

Having any training/background in ECE, education or equivalent and/or having your food handler’s certification is considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary: $15.90-$23.47 per hour
