Roofing Service Foreperson

Must Have:
• Smartphone
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Experience as a Labourer
• Leadership Skills
• Construction Math
Assets:
• Valid certificates in various machine operation
• Reading/Understanding of blueprint drawings
• Previous Foreman experience
DUTIES:
1. Provide quality service to and for customers at all times.
2. Enforce the Company’s safety procedures at all times.
3. Enforce Company’s rules at all times, including hours of operation. (10-hour days usually)
4. Able to communicate clearly to other employees of tasks for the day
5. Time management
6. Assists in the staging of materials and supplies for the job. This may involve loading
trucks, trailers and moving supplies and materials to the roof safely.
7. Prepares roof areas for new or replacement or watertight roofs. Includes taking off old
roofs as directed, placing waste in proper dump box, and maintaining a safe, litter free
work area.
8. Assists in the trouble shooting of roof problems, determines problems and solves the
problems per generally accepted methods of roof repair.
9. Installs and/or replaces decking, metal, wood as necessary to meet the expectations of
the customer and the employer.
10. Install roof curbs, skylights, expansion joints and roof drains.
11. Knowledge of various equipment and proper operating procedures for such equipment.
12. Follows the direction of General Manager/Clients as needed
13. Able to offer other insights and problem-solving skills
14. Other tasks assigned by General Manager
