Job Description


Our Heavy Vehicle Division is looking for a Retail Specialist

As part of a growing demand from our Heavy Duty Division stores to move towards a retail model, there are increasing demands and needs for the implementation of merchandising standards and concepts.

The Retail Sales Specialist plays a multi-faceted role in the implementation of merchandising standards, training, documentation of processes and databases, as well as in the management of projects and store remodels.

Specifically, the position will have the following responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Market Management team, participate in the development of a category management strategy that takes advantage of our competitive position and market trends
  • Build all planograms for Traction stores according to established guidelines and create a digital version in “Blue Yonder Space Planning”
  • Analyze the performance of each of the planograms and the related stores, propose changes to the concerned teams and implement the required changes;
  • Follow-up on the implementation and assistance to the stores (Yoobic)
  • Create, document and formalize all processes and guidelines within the HVPD merchandising department
  • Ensure the updating of the retail product database and its data integrity (MasterPlano)
  • Communicate with stores and keep them informed of current and upcoming changes
  • Planning and implementation of the retail floor plan process;
  • Coordinate the implementation process from start to finish (12 weeks)
  • Create floor plan and product placement by store

Qualifications


To join our team, you need:

  • College degree in administration or sales combined with 5 to 7 years of experience in retail marketing;
  • Good knowledge of "Space Planning Plus" and AutoCAD;
  • Ability to create planograms;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel;
  • Bilingualism is mandatory;
  • Available to travel occasionally (15% of time).
