Hawksworth Restaurant Group is seeking a full-time Restaurant Accountant to be part of the strategic growth of the company. This position is focused on full cycle accounting, while reporting to the Accounting Manager. This is a fast paced environment and we are looking for a fast learner that is eager to grow with the company.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-AR/AP Accounts payable duties: enter invoices

-Prepare financial statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements for our four locations (Bel Cafes, Hawksworth Restaurant & Nightingale Restaurant).

-Prepare consolidated financial package.

-File all PST, WCB and GST

-Bank reconciliations

-Assist with the budget process for the restaurant group

Qualifications:

-3 years experience in full cycle accounting preferably in the hospitality industry

-Experience with Sage 50

-Proficient in MS Excel and Word

-Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

-Strong oral and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
