Cardinal Health, with over 1300 employees in Canada, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

We are looking for positive and team-oriented individual to join our Dorval distribution center. Join our Operations team to supports the region in identifying and troubleshooting issues relating to the performance of the warehouse operations. The incumbent cumulates, tracks, monitors, and analyses vast amounts of data and information to provide insight and recommendations to improve overall operational efficiency.

The position will work closely with Operations leaders, Operations excellence, and cross functional units to develop reports and provide intelligence to the business.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:

• Create and manage daily, weekly & monthly KPI reports for the region.

• Manage and coordinate the labor planning process at the site level.

• Analyze data and information to identify opportunities in labor planning and hour management

• Create and manage volume forecasts for the region

• Work closely with operations leaders to identify opportunities improve process, efficiency, and drive cost-effectiveness through continuous improvement initiatives.

• Create and manage tools that provide insightful, actionable recommendations to improve overall operations.

• Maintain and actively manage relationships with cross-functional departments to improve operations understanding of the overall business.

• Facilitate training of the regional team on the labor planning methodology

• Ensuring Efficiency and Effectiveness in processes between operations and key customers

• Collaborate with finance and operations to drive accountabilities on initiatives

• Lead collaborative projects within warehouse operations, distribution and finance.

• Lead the development and design of operational focused scorecards (Regionally & Nationally)

• Through competitive and best practice analysis, strategize and evaluate possible integrations of new industry tools and technology.

This Job might be for you if:

• A good understanding of warehousing and logistics gained through 2-4 years of industry experience.

• College/University education in Business/Supply Chain Management; University degree requiring in-depth analysis would be considered an asset. (eg. Industrial Engineering, Math, Business.)

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence internal and external customers to drive value-added solutions.

• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze data trends with the use of reporting tools (ex. Excel, Access, tableau, Power BI.) and initiate action from findings.

• Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as individually.

• Thinks logically and can learn on the job through experimentation.

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and be able to prioritize effectively.

• Superior project management, facilitation, presentation and effective communication skills.
