Precision Record Pressingis a leading vinyl record pressing company located inBurlington, Ontario.We believe our growth and success can be directly attributed to the emphasis we place on service, quality, and innovation and the involvement, commitment, and enthusiasm of our employees. We are currently looking for a Reclaim Operator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanentopportunity that involves supporting the production operations through recycling materials. We are looking for positive, energetic people who want to work in a team environment!

This position operates on a weekly day shift (7am-3pm) and afternoon shift (2pm-10pm) rotation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the reclaim materials and by-products created from the production process
• Responsible for the organization of all reclaim materials, separated by vendor
• Update all documentation to ensure accurate reclaim reporting
• Operating lift truck to move materials throughout the warehouse for proper storage
• Safely operate all Regrind equipment while minimizing the amount of compound contamination
• Work closely with Production Scheduler for regrind introduction
• General housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader
  

Physical Demands

• Required to stand for entire duration of shift
• Involves repetitive motions
• Must be able to carry, push, pull or lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment
• Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels
  

Requirements/Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience considered an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Use of proper PPE while performing functions, CSA steel toed safety boots are mandatory
• Must be willing to work all shifts & to work overtime as business needs require
• Current shift schedule is rotating days and afternoons (weekly)
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
• Excellent communication skills: written, electronic and oral
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities in a team environment
• Knowledge of inventory control methods considered an asset
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
