Proposal Designer (Solar)*This is an entry level position, no previous solar experience is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare solar designs and quotes for clients;
• Revise and update designs and quotes as needed;
• Work with the sales team to understand client needs and propose solutions; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma is preferred;
• Access to reliable transportation;
• Criminal record check is required;
• Strong ability to take initiative;
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills;
• Organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
• Ability to multitask and prioritize;
• Ability to adapt to changes and pivot as necessary based on business needs;
• Posses a technical aptitude;
• Able to problem solve;
• Previous experience with CAD design is an asset;
• Understanding solar power systems and technologies is an asset; and
• Comfortable with technology and software (Google Suite, CRM an asset).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
