Position Title
  • Project Scheduler
Department

Position Summary

The Project Scheduler is responsible for planning, creating and managing project schedules for the programming, commissioning and training stages of Argus projects in coordination with our clients.

Reports to:Director of Client Services and Quality

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Work with clients, technical experts, project leads and managers to schedule the programming, commissioning and training stages of an Argus project, including proper documentation.
  • Ensure schedules are communicated to all relevant stakeholders in a timely fashion. This includes clients and Argus team members.
  • Monitor project progress and inform appropriate parties of delays, conflict or approaching due date.
  • Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project timing issues and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.
  • Modify schedules to account for changes in project status.
  • Look for improvements to the scheduling and tracking of projects.
Critical Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
Authority

Employee has the authority to:
  • Access information necessary to the position.
  • Critical decision making and any financial spending shall be first approved by the Director of Client Services and Quality.
Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time position based on a 40-work week, Monday to Friday, unless otherwise specified.
  • Work is completed in an office setting.
Employment Requirements
  • Reads, writes and speaks English.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with planning/scheduling.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
