As a project manager, you help direct resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams.

You organize, manage and control the human, material, financial and IT resources needed to deliver very large-scale, innovative projects and programs involving multiple sectors. You execute the project plan and serve as point person for all contributors involved in project/program delivery. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You draw on your organizational savvy and drive for results to effectively manage people and performance.

You are responsible for projects and programs that are strategic or linked to the organization’s strategic plan and significantly impact an entire sector or the whole organization. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and programs that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

You lead, influence and serve as expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent the organization’s position and help negotiate agreements with external providers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
