Adecco is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join one of Canada’s largest petroleum refiners in Calgary, AB. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a renowned company and make a significant impact in managing the progression of a large project or a portfolio of remediation sites.- Location: Calgary, AB
- Shifts: Monday - Friday | 40 hours / week

- Managing the progression of a large project or a portfolio of remediation sites, including planning, stewardship, and execution.
- Utilizing the Project Management Dashboard (PMD) to provide necessary information and updates.
- Supporting the Environmental Solutions Region Strategist in developing consistent life cycle cost, planning, budgeting, and reserve strategies.
- Assessing site-specific risks, prioritizing actions, and developing risk management plans.
- Collaborating with the Functional Expertise Group to initiate procurement actions, evaluate contractor proposals, approve expenditures, and ensure work execution meets standards.
- Participating in emergency response activities to minimize risk exposure.
- Providing support in public relations interactions.
- Assisting with field execution support for commercial transactions, claims, and litigation.
- Supporting Senior Project Manager as required.
- Supervising activities of contractors/consultants.
- Ensuring remediation systems comply with design standards, regulatory permits, and are maintained effectively and safely.
- Preferred university degree in engineering, geology, sciences, or technical background.
- 5-10 years of project management experience within the Oil & Gas (Greenfield/Brownfield) or construction industry.
- Environmental consultant background with experience in health, safety, and environmental solutions.
- Knowledge of LPS (Loss Prevention System), OIMS (Operations Integrity Management System), and CIMS (Controls Integrity Management System).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to travel periodically.
- Ability to make sound decisions.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
