- Responsible for project tracking tools, including construction schedules and estimates.
- Conduct onsite worksite inspections with a heavy focus on safety and quality of work performed.
- Assist in the coordination, preparation and submission of as-built drawings and design drawings.
- Monitor progress and assist in the provision of job cost reports to management on active projects.
- Provide Management with data and project analysis.
- Identify and assist in resolution of issues related to the above reports.
- Track productivity, costs and progress on projects.
- Provide support for meeting packages and reports preparation; track and follow up on actions.
- Provide project assurance support with understanding and completion of internal project reporting.
- Participate in development of requirements for project management tools and processes.
- Travel within the Southern Interior areas in BC for site vists.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and internal departments.
- Education in Civil/Construction Technologist/ Technician.
- 3+ years of experience in telecommunications.
- Great computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project.
- Strong communication skills – oral and written.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities and work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Understanding of current best-practice project management techniques.
- Strong safety awareness.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
