• Act as focal point between Bombardier and supplier integrators.
• Prepare kick-off package for suppliers to start design phase.
• Assist supplier with technical solutions of design issues.
• Help supplier to understand and follow BA processes and best practices.
• Find opportunities for product improvement (cycle time reduction, ease of production, weight reduction etc.).
• Review specifications for accuracy.
• Plan deliverables with supplier to ensure on-time release.
• Keep track of project and communicate any potential issues (critical designs, technical risks etc.).
• Support weekly quality meetings for lessons learned.
• Attend weekly meetings with supplier to support design development.
• Participate in finding design solutions to change requests (RFC) from supplier and production.
• Work with supplier to provide PCR (internal changes) and RFQ (client changes) impacts.
• Communicate efficiently with colleagues and upper management.
• Evaluate engineering impacts and costs for design changes.
• Validate certification documents.
• Develop 3D concepts as required to support change management deliverables such as PCR, RFQ, VROM.

As our ideal candidate,

• You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• You have 3 years and more of relevant experience.
• You have aviation experience.
• You are comfortable with Catia V5 (part, assembly, drawing).
• You have good knowledge of MS Office.
• You have good knowledge of Enovia V5 (asset).
• You have experience in aircraft interiors (asset).
• You have experience in machining and manufacturing (asset).
